The Open Calls for Financial Support to attend the Bluedots Living Labs are part of our mission to empower social economy actors in the blue sector to embrace digital innovation, accelerating the transition towards a sustainable and inclusive blue economy.

Capacity Building Event
This event will provide:
- Opportunities to exchange knowledge with international experts, SMEs, clusters, universities and research institutes.
- Insights into how digitalisation and social innovation can make the blue economy more sustainable, inclusive and competitive.
- Practical workshops, site visits and networking opportunities.
What will you get from these two days?
- A visit to Centrum Techniki Okrętowej, the Maritime Advanced Research Centre, and discussions on cross-sector cooperation, digital transformation and sustainable products and services
- Workshops to share challenges and ideas on innovation, skills, investment and new market opportunities
- A visit to Gdynia Maritime School, to see how specialist training in sustainable maritime transport, offshore technologies, ports and fish farming prepares people for a changing sector
- A networking dinner and dedicated time to meet partners and build collaborations

Key details of the Call
- Application deadline: Monday, 14 December 2026
- Eligibility: Social Economy SMEs and enabling organisations active in the blue economy sector in Europe.
- Selected Beneficiaries: Up to 90 organisations will be chosen to participate in the Bluedots Financial Facility Programme.
Financial Support
Beneficiaries will receive a lump sum of up to €800 per organisation (covering expenses for up to two people) to support their travel, accommodation and subsistence costs.
