GRAINS strengthens social economy SMEs in the agri-food sector by supporting capacity building, knowledge transfer, and transnational cooperation. In the first year, the project focuses on business needs and innovation, while in the second year it addresses specific operations of the agri-food supply chain, such as eco-packaging and local markets. Through mentorship, coaching, advisory support, training, and labelling services, GRAINS facilitates the transfer of expertise from practitioners and experts.
The project promotes sustainable technologies and environmentally friendly practices, enhances the competitiveness of social economy SMEs, and fosters the sharing of best practices to advance sustainable production and raise awareness across borders.
