The SELC – Social Entrepreneurship in Local Communities project promotes the development of social entrepreneurship initiatives that generate positive social, environmental, and cultural impact at the local level. Bringing together six international partners, the project develops innovative incubation models and training programmes to support individuals interested in creating social enterprises. Key activities include the creation of the SELC Community platform, providing resources and tools for social entrepreneurs, as well as the delivery of training and mentoring for 60 adults with social innovation ideas.
The project also supports selected participants in launching crowdfunding campaigns to finance their initiatives. Through these actions, SELC strengthens local social economy ecosystems by fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and practical support for emerging social enterprises.
